The Arisaig Community Development Association (ACDA) is proud to announce the opening of the new Arisaig Lobster Interpretive Marine Life Centre on May 13, 2023.
The new facility boasts a range of new features including touch tanks and aquariums with local marine species, interactive rope and knot tying, a scale model Cape Islander lobster fishing boat for kids to learn about through play, and much more.

The Arisaig Parish Community Centre (APCC) was built by volunteers in 1989. The hall has been
used extensively by the community for wedding receptions, family reunions, birthday parties,
socials after funerals, card parties, Antigonish summer recreation programs, meetings and
numerous social and recreation activities.

Cost is $400 plus tax for the season- July 1 to Sept 30. Electrical is an additional $50 month
The current Lighthouse (2007) is a replica of the original that was destroyed by fire in the 1930s. The design followed plans as much as possible from the original. It is a functioning lighthouse and also houses an ice cream stand in July & August operated by the local Harbour Authority
Arisaig Community Trails Association (ACT-A)
A small picnic park, known for its fascinating geology. An interpretive kiosk, trails, and picnic area help ensure an interesting and enjoyable experience. Located 27 km (17 miles) north of Antigonish and 57 km (36 miles) northeast of New Glasgow on Route 245 on the Sunrise Trail
The grounds surrounding the Arisaig Parish Community Centre are open to all and include a ball field, a play structure and a small bike pump track.
